"With seven of the ten top qualifying speeds by Honda-powered drivers and teams, including an average of 232.595 mph that earned Scott Dixon his third Indianapolis 500 pole, and our own Honda Performance Development engineers, we are making final preparations for the 101st running of the race and fervently hope to win the Borg Warner trophy for the 12th time in the past 14 years.

Leading up to this weekend’s competition, Honda has debuted a great new marketing campaign, which reminds all of us that our racing spirit is the heart and soul of Honda, and serves as the foundation of the products we make for our customers.

As our drivers, teams and engineers prepare for what we hope is both a safe and victorious weekend at the Brickyard, I’m excited to see and hear so much enthusiasm among our own associates, our Honda customers and racing fans around the world. They are what our racing spirit is all about.”
