Honda Rearview Report: December 31, 2016 - January 06, 2017

"Mobility has become a BIG part of the conversation at CES, and we did our part this year to add to that story with our "Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem" approach, which includes the Honda Safe Swarm concept, the Honda NeuV Concept equipped with artificial intelligence, the Honda HMI Concept, Visa in-vehicle payment system, a self-balancing motorcycle and more still.

This conversation at CES around future mobility, while exhilarating, is also chock full of proclamations and predictions. Honestly, Honda is typically more reserved when talking about the future. But we have a tremendous team of people in the U.S. – in our Ohio, Detroit and Silicon Valley offices – and in Japan, and globally, who are working to advance Honda's vision for future mobility. As always, we're keeping the focus on our customers and the opportunities that new technologies provide with a safer, more efficient and intuitive mobility experience.

CES was an exciting way to kick off the new year and to get energized for the many challenges that will be required to bring this new reality to life. It's a wonderful opportunity for Honda to exercise its challenging spirit, and we look forward to updating you on our progress in the months and years ahead.

If you weren't able to join us at CES, you can watch the livestream of the press conference at Honda.us/CESPressConference, or visit honda.us/CES2017 for more. Happy New Year!"
