Honda Stage Joins STAR Primetime Series on FOX

TORRANCE, Calif. – Honda and its successful Honda Stage music program ( have partnered with FOX on a unique multiplatform partnership, including on-air and digital content, a live event, and social amplification, in support of the new series STAR airing on Wednesdays at 9:00 PM ET/PT on FOX. Featuring a soundtrack of original music and stunning performances, STAR is an emotionally powerful drama that follows three talented young singers as they navigate the cutthroat music industry in their pursuit of stardom. The partnership marks the first time the automaker has incorporated Honda Stage within a nationally televised program.

In season one of STAR, the aspiring singers begin their journey by trying to break into Atlanta's vibrant music scene and get the chance to perform on the Honda Stage at a fictional music festival in Atlanta, similar to the real-life Honda Stage at Music Midtown in Atlanta.

Honda's partnership with STAR also includes the "Making A Dream" video series, made possible by Honda. The custom digital series (, including the latest episode (, focuses on the journey of the show's three leads, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny and Brittany O'Grady, as they evolve from industry newcomers to recognized stars within the music industry.

Honda also will produce a special episode of its Clio-award winning digital series "UNCHARTED," featuring STAR co-creator and executive producer Lee Daniels. The episode highlights Mr. Daniel's unconventional path to success and how he has captured the power of music in storytelling. "UNCHARTED" ( is the online series developed through a creative collaboration between UPROXX Media and Honda as part of the Honda Stage Music program, exploring the talents and stories behind undiscovered and up-and-coming artists. Content from STAR's dedicated "UNCHARTED" episode and exclusive "Making A Dream" series will be available on the Honda Stage YouTube Channel.

With STAR's broad reach and diverse audience, Honda's partnership includes a multicultural focus and an emphasis on Honda's "Power of Dreams" philosophy. FOX will incorporate messaging around Honda's music initiatives and this "Power of Dreams" philosophy within STAR social posts across Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories and Twitter; as well as in support of each "Making a Dream" episode launch.

To celebrate the music of STAR and the first season coming to a close, a fan-focused Honda Stage concert event, featuring a performance set by the ladies of STAR –  Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny and Brittany O'Grady – will take place in Los Angeles on March 14 at the iHeartRadio Theatre. The evening will feature red carpet arrivals, exclusive performances of some of the hottest songs from the series, as well as offering fans in attendance access to the show creators, influencers, and performers they've grown to love over the course of the season. Performances from the evening will be filmed and shared on FOX and STAR channels for fans to see after the show and for those who weren't able to attend live.
